Meg Koenig | Salty Muse
Welcome
Salty Muse is the evolution of my own journey — a space where practicality meets transformation, and where play becomes a portal to deep self-trust.
I help people reconnect with their inner truth through hypnotherapy, play coaching, and integrative self-development — guiding them to rewrite old patterns, cultivate clarity, and live with more freedom, power, pleasure, presence, and purpose. I work with the nervous system as a wise oracle, honoring its signals, calming its chaos, and helping it feel safe enough to invite new possibilities.
My approach weaves together somatic awareness and a wide range of self-exploration tools — astrology, Human Design, Gene Keys, subconscious reprogramming, and practical magic. It's grounded, curious, and deeply personal. I believe transformation happens not when we force it, but when we feel safe enough to allow it.
I'm a certified hypnotherapist, play coach, and pleasure activist devoted to reclaiming joy as a revolutionary act. Trained at Soul of Yoga in Encinitas (200-hour RYT), I bridge nervous system science with the ancient technologies of the subtle body — weaving together somatic awareness, guided journeying, and breath-centered yogic wisdom to support deep recalibration and authentic self-expression. I am also currently training in Sacred Rage with the brilliant Maya Luna of the Deep Feminine Mystery School — an initiation into the life force energy of embodied anger as a pathway to self-love, healing, empowerment, and magic. I am honored to be part of her sisterhood lineage, and this body of work lives at the heart of what I offer.
Before stepping into this work, I spent over a decade managing high-level projects across construction, corporate productivity, and wedding planning. I know how to hold complexity, create structure, and bring big visions to life — and now I bring those same skills to helping others navigate their inner worlds, with equal parts care, intuition, and precision.
My early corporate work in productivity management — alongside Getting Things Done creator David Allen — sparked a lasting passion for making space. I came to understand that we get more done when we slow down, breathe, feel, and play. I hold a degree in Commercial Recreation Management from Penn State University, and I've been playing my way sane since 2002.
Between 2011 and 2014, I immersed myself in the vibrant yoga community of Ojai, California.
That time cracked me open.
It aligned the inner architecture of my path and catalyzed the creation of Salty Muse — a living temple of remembrance, resonance, and radical play.
